Students in this event compete in different academic tournaments throughout the school year. Tournaments consist of rapid fire questions and bonus questions from random subject areas. Points are given to the team who signals readiness first and answers with a correct answer. Points for correct answers vary in each tournament. Teams are composed of up to 4 students from a school. Questions come from random subject areas such as math, science, history, art, music, grammar, literature, sports, TV shows, movies, etc.
